The Long Island Board of REALTORS hosted a well attended Fair Housing Summit in Carle Place today. LIBOR instructor, Don Scanlon, presented a comprehensive program in the morning that covered federal and state fair housing laws which relate to real estate.
Following the seminar, attendees participated in a panel discussion, that was streamed live on Facebook, featuring Jo-Ann Frey, Director of Regional Enforcement Division U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Sharon Mullon, Fair Housing Education Coordinator of Long Island Housing Partnership.
