On Monday, Dec 16th, at 1pm the Nassau County Legislature will be voting on Bill 489-19 which will require cooperative (co-op) housing boards to acknowledge receipt of applications within 15 days and within 45 days shall either reject or approve the application. The bill also states that if a co-op board does not respond, fines shall be imposed (up to $2,000). The full text of the bill can be found here. We need our members there to show support!
